Power in people

ActionAid Cambodia

ActionAid Cambodia is both a catalyst and a contributor to social change processes. We work with the poorest and most excluded men, women and children in Cambodia, making long-term commitments to advance their human rights and transform the world in which their children grow up. Our approach to securing change puts human rights front and centre, prioritising empowerment, solidarity and campaigning.

Our Partnership

We work hand in hand with civil society organizations, social and labor groups, and community networks to create meaningful change. Our mission is to engage closely with people living in poverty, including smallholder farmers, community fisheries and protected areas, children and young people, supporting their efforts to build resilience against disasters and climate change while safeguarding their rights to livelihood and resources. We champion civic participation and advocate for state accountability in the fair redistribution of resources and the delivery of quality, gender-responsive public services—especially in education and health. Our commitment extends to tackling the root causes of violence against women and girls and advancing women’s economic justice.
